Texas Hold'em (No Limit)
Two cards each, five on the board, and your hand is the best five of those seven in any combination — both your cards, one, or neither. There is no limit on a bet: at any point you may push your whole stack in.
Four cards each, five on the board — and the rule that catches everybody out: exactly two from your hand and exactly three from the board. Not "up to two". Every hand you make is two of yours plus three of theirs.
Hold any seat to open its hand out. Four cards overlap to fit the felt, so press and hold a seat — yours at any time, an opponent's once they have turned over at showdown — and the cards lift towards the middle of the table at full size until you let go.
Pot limit, not no limit. The most you may raise to is the pot as it will stand once you have called — so with 600 in the middle and 300 to call, you may call the 300 and then raise 900 on top. The Pot button works that out for you, and the slider will not go past it.
6 players, 20,000 chips each. The last three standing share the prize pool — 50%, 30%, 20% — so survival matters as much as chip accumulation, and the moment you bust the tournament is over for you.
Blinds go up every 8 hands and roughly double each level: 100/100, then 100/200, 200/400, 400/800, 800/1600 and onward. Deep stacks turn shallow fast; that is the point of a turbo.
You have 20 seconds to act. Run out of time and you check if it is free, otherwise you fold.
Chips, level length and the clock are all set in the Table setup window before a tournament starts.
Each opponent is dealt a hidden playing style, and you are not told which. Working it out from how they bet is the exercise.
Frequencies are randomised inside each band, so no two opponents play identically. When the tournament ends you are shown what everyone actually was, so you can check your reads.
