Everyone gets five cards. The rest of the deck sits face down in the middle with one card turned face up beside it.
On your turn you take either the face-up card or the top of the deck, then throw one card from your hand face up onto the pile. You are always back to five.
First player holding a full house wins — three of one rank and two of another. The winner collects the stake from everybody else, and starts the next game.
Every draw and every throw is public. Taking the face-up card tells the table “I want that rank.” Throwing a card tells them “I don’t.”
So watch what people pick up — the ranks each player has taken are listed under their name — and think before you throw. The bots do exactly the same thing to you: they remember every rank you have taken and try not to hand you the card that finishes your hand.
You cannot throw back the card you have just picked up off the pile. A card drawn from the deck can go straight back.
When the deck runs out, the pile is shuffled into a new deck and one card is turned face up.
